Coin Design
With a team of people we considered the capacity of the technical, production & design aspect of this 12 years program. We have to look ahead & understand the form of all 12 animals sitting comfortably in the huge range of coin size in both gold & silver from the smallest ~14cm gold to the largest 10kg at 221cm silver. It all has to look good!

Packaging Design
The problem to solve again was the huge range of packaging dimension that was needed. It needed to be flexible to go across different ratio aspect of the coin range. It also has to withstand the test of 12 years of design trend.
As a series for coin to be collected for the 12 lunar year, how beautiful will it be to have a flowing illustration that tells the origination of the lunar animal race. My challenged was to illustrate the story in a long 12 panel panomatic painting but the animal can still be separated individually to sit nicely with the branding of the packaging.
