Yagan Square Dragon
I was asked to design the Yagan Square signage in Perth, and I just couldn’t say no! What an incredible canvas it was to create an illustartion in the middle of Perth city. This project was specifically aimed at celebrating the Lunar New Year, which marks the year of the dragon in 2024. This was created digitally in vector so that it can be scaled to a large format while keeping both colour quality & file size manageble .
Work Progress
First concept of dragon was approved with colour before refinement. Illustration was done on an iPad using Procreate. (This was because I was flying on a family trip). Final artwork was refine in Adobe Illustrator.
